Peasants' Revolt
It all started after the Black Death, the villagers who survived thought that they were special, and that god had protected them for a reason.
They began traveling outside of their villages, which was illegal, looking for better work. Lords who had lost their slaves in the Black Death outbreak, were willing to pay more then average for slave work, and encouraged the peasants to leave their villages to come help the Lords.
Tired of the peasants roaming the countryside, the King made a new thing in 1351 called the "Statute of Labourers" which had 3 main laws. The Statute said that "No peasants could be paid more then the wages in 1346" "no lord or master should offer more wages then in 1346" and "Peasants could not leave the village they were born to."
In 1381 the peasants stormed the king with a petition to ban these laws. In the end, the king finally banned and took away the laws.
